The Skin I Live In Blu-ray Review

Pedro Almodóvar directs this revenge tale based on Thierry Jonquet's 1995 novel 'Mygale'. Antonio Banderas stars as Robert Ledgard, an eminent plastic surgeon whose attempts to cultivate a new form of human skin have led to years of experimentation on a live woman, Vera (Elena Anaya). But as the story of Vera's past emerges, it become clear that Robert has a questionable agenda of his own as he manipulates her face and body for his own purposes.

Amazing news. There's always one high profile boxing day release, and this looks set to be it. My favourite of the year alongside Tree Of Life and Drive, I can't wait to rewatch it.

I wish the US release would be available as early as this! But even the theatrical release hasn't arrived yet.

I'd say chances are pretty good with Fox...but I'll definately be following as this release gets closer

This is a Pathe release distributed by Fox (like Centurion and Broken Embraces, among others) . It will likely be Region B locked.

Oh, well, there goes that...hopefully we'll get a US/Canada release sometime soon

I think Sony has this in the US so hopefully you guys will see a release, just 6 months after we do

Well, Sony released 'Broken Embraces' in the States in March, after it was released theatrically in November...so, 4 months. We still might see this film announced for February..if not, then maybe March. Hopefully not any longer than that.

There is a US release coming on March 6.

Yeah...was just curious of region code since this one is much earlier.

There's a "B" on the back, though I know on occasion labeling has been incorrect as to region coding, but I guess it's safe to assume this is Region B locked
