Default Wonder Years on Amazon Prime Instant

Anyone see that Amazon signed a deal with Fox to stream movies and TV shows including The Wonder Years? I was debating on signing up for Prime in a few weeks when my year of free Prime from Amazon Mom is up, but it was still up in the air. I think this makes it a no brainer for me.

It comes on The Hub every day, so no big deal to me.

But does this deal have any impact on a DVD/Blu-Ray release in the future?

I've never even heard of that station, so I'm certain I don't get that.

http://www.hubworld.com/

I get it with Comcast cable (channel 130). They play kids stuff throughout the day, and play retro stuff at night (Wonder Years, Batman, Transformers, GI Joe, Jem, etc)

netflix also gets wonder years so if you already have netflix there really isn't a difference but if you are looking for a streaming service they acquired wonder years along with many others.

at $79 you not only get the free 2 day shipping but the deal is better than netflix's (netflix is $7.99 per month and amazon would come out to $6.58 per month if broken down). I'm on amazon mom while i have my newborn but i've been thinking about getting amazon's streaming service over netflix (who i currently have)

I was wondering that myself. I heard about it being on Netflix yesterday and now today I read this thread. I'm really curious if some kind of deal's been struck. Even though I just watched the whole series on the Hub last winter, I wouldn't mind owning this.

Yeah are free Prime with Amazon Mom runs out in a couple weeks. I love Prime and had been tossing around the idea of paying for it. Plus our boy is starting to really like Sesame Street and Amazon Prime streaming has several seasons of it. The Wonder Years announcement really made it a no brainer for me.

I just watched the first episode on Amazon Prime -

Great to see it again BUT...

A lot of the music has been replaced - including someone other than Joe Cocker doing the theme song
