Default Any K-pop fans here?

Just wondering if their were any fellow K-pop fans here.

My Favorite is Girls' Generation(SNSD)
Their new album comes out next week, so excited

They also (along with other SM produced groups) have a concert in New York next month. If I could afford to go, I would in a heart beat.

Other groups and singers I like:
miss A
4minute
f(x)
2NE1
BoA
Sistar

Sorry, I'm not a fan at all. I can only see girls liking this sort of music in North America.

Totally!

Don't listen to a lot but I do like 2NE1 and Super Junior. And I am so not a male turning 27 in one week *Cough* I also like the Twilight movies and play Dance Central a lot (Wish they would start adding K-Pop and J-Pop for DLC and get some variety to the songs). Pretty sure I am the gayest straight male in human history at this point. If I didn't have a thing for Dara I would probably even start to be doubting myself

Nah my dad beats you for that title. He enrolled in a dancing class with one of his male friends as a couple to save money. He also takes a cooking class, and art lessons. And he always wants candles for presents.

Gotta love the stereotypes But yeah, thats pretty much America.

I for one am male, and straight. Got to admit half the appeal of why I love SNSD so much is they are nine hot ladies
But I love the music too.

@Hayabusa85: I don't know, I am a pretty gay straight man myself. I also love to watch Korean dramas and they are pretty much all about cheesy love stories. Maybe I just lonely

So you like K dramas? I actually enjoy watching those as well. My wife is Asian and had seen many of them on TV (it seem they are popular in many Asian countries) and got me hook on these. So far I have seen

Sweet Spy
Grand Chef
Mister Duke
My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho
Happy Together
Glass Slippers
Love Letters

I am thinking of ordering My Lovely Sam Soon, look's like a good one. The one I am dying to order and can't find on DVD anywhere is Invincible Lee Pyung Kang. I have a HUGE crush on Nam Sang Mi since I first saw her in Sweet Spy

I Love 2NE1..grabbed all the music videos off youtube and saved em on my PS3..heard some of the Girls Generation but that's about it.

I'd actually go and see 2NE1 live if they ever came over here..which could happen over the next few years if they become more popular.

My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is the only one of those Ive seen.
Ive also watched
Cinderella Man
Dream High
You're Beautiful
Heartstrings
Boys Over Flowers
City Hunter
Secret Garden
Flower Boy Ramen Shop

Yep, those are all basically chick flick ones, but yeah that goes back to what I said in my last post. Since I am so in to K-pop, the ones that have idols acting in them do tend to draw me more. I gained a big crush on Park Min Young after watching her in City Hunter. The ending to that one totally sucked though.

I haven't listened to any in a while (around 2002-2003). At that time I listened to FinKL, Baby VOX, BoA, JTL, Rain, Jang Nara, etc. My cousin from Korea tried to get me to listen to some on her Mac the last time I saw her in July but I didn't recognize any of the artists.

They performed at Time's Square through MTV in December so more US stuff could follow. They are also working on their American debut album with Will.I.Am so that is bound to spark a lot of North American shows. Hopefully when those shows start they do some of their original songs and don't just focus on their American songs. Especially since I don't have a ton of confidence in Will.I.Am

Oh, I thought you were being serious in your first post Didn't recognize Seungyeon in your avatar.

My top 4 groups are SNSD, CNBLUE, miss A, and Secret.

But Ive had a big surge in my likings lately.
After School, Ailee, B.A.P, Big Bang, BoA, BEG, EXO, f(x), FTIsland, Girl's Day, IU, KARA, Rainbow, Shinee, SuJu, SunnyHill, T-ara, Trax, TVXQ, V.O.S, 2NE1, 2AM, 4minute. And there are a lot of solo artists I like as well, and quite a few drama OSTs. Needless to say K-pop has pretty much taken over my life the last few months.

The youtube channel simonandmartina is a lot of fun to watch for anyone who likes to mix humor with k-pop as they review k-pop music videos.
