Default Warner being romanced by the devil?

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/htm...dformat01.html

"The brinkmanship is only intensifying. Another major studio, Warner Bros., is being courted by both camps and is believed to be mulling a lucrative offer that could bring such popular titles as "Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix" exclusively into the HD DVD camp, according to Hollywood insiders who asked for anonymity because the talks are confidential."

I certainly hope they don't go HD DVD exclusive... that would eat azz! Hey Sony, offer Warner MORE $$$ ... let's lock this down and get WB on Blu only.

I am pretty sure there have been a lot of threads on this subject. I am also pretty sure that Warner is going to hold out until Q1 08.

I'm pretty sure that this is the same LA Times article from before. No new news here. This thread should be locked, since it references the same article.

At this point, this is extremely old news.

And I will repeat here my prediction that WB is going BLu exclusive in Q1 2008 if Blu sales increase like they appear to be doing.

sorry... I didn't realize it was an old article... I certainly didn't mean to re-hash old news. It certainly will be sweet if Warner sees the blu light and DOES go exclusive Blu-ray after the holidays.
