Just received this e-mail from Amazon:

We're writing about the order you placed on September 12 2007 21:44 PDT (Order# XXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX). Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:

somethin' must be messed up. I can't even find M&C on BR listed on amazon. plus the 10th isn't a normal release day for titles. (tuesdays are)

Master and Commander is not being released until next year.

I got the same email and was wondering about that too, obviously the date is a mistake.

I hope they didn't mean Oct. 10 2008.

I was really hoping to get this the same day as Galapagos...for a Darwinian double feature...
