Are WB slipcovers printed on foil in the uk? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm planning to get supernatural season 6 and the vampire diaries season 2 from Amazon UK. I want to know if the slipboxes are printed on foil like in the US. I like the shiny look of those. Can someone please clarify this for me? Thanks.

WB only release the foil slipcovers in the US unfortunately, the UK releases are regular card.

The Fringe had a foil release initially but they're long gone. Oddly though a few of their DVD releases like The Sarah Connor Chronicles have foil slipcovers while the BD's don't.

I thought the Fringe slipcover was lenticular? Can anybody please post pictures of the uk slipboxes for vampire diaries or supernatural?

The first season blu-ray release of Fringe in North America was lenticular. The succeeding seasons are not, just a slip-in cover simillar to Nikita Season 1 and the like.

Do the at least have lossless audio like in the US?

They have DTS-HD MA.
