Default Star Trek: Original TV Series box set question

Has anyone see this?

Star Trek: The Original Series Complete Blu-ray

http://www.amazon.com/Star-Trek-Orig...301641&sr=1-17

Does this box set have the same disc as if you purchase seasons 1,2 and 3? I know you can purchase season 1,2 and 3 together if you purchase it like this.

Star Trek: The Original Series, Three-Season Pack Blu-ray

But from the picture this box set is different. I think I like the box set better. I am going to contact Paramount to find out more information. Does anyone here have this box set or know anything about it?

Same contents, different box. The UK box has the discs in cardboard gatefold sleeve pockets.

Also 400 dollars? Amazon.co.uk sells the same box for 90 quid, which is what, a little over a hundred dollars?

So this is from the UK then. I noticed it said import at Amazon. Best Buy has it for a little less. It says they are region free. I really like this box and like the idea of all the season being in one box, so I might go with this one.

If you're going to go for that one, do yourself a favor like Takeshi666 said and order it from Amazon.co.uk. It will only cost you about $140 + shipping for the exact same thing:

Here's my question for those who have the American BD's. Do these come with the original episodes, as well as the remastered episodes? Wondering if I should upgrade from the DVD set?

Yes, the US BDs have the original episodes with the original effects seen when they first aired along with the versions with updated effects.

I'm actually somewhat interested in this set. Do you think you could do us a tremendous favor and post pictures when you receive it?

I did look at Amazon United Kingdom to see the price. I just order it right now with the The Secret of NIMH Cd soundtrack. Amazon told me that it shoud work fine in my Blu-ray and if I have any problems I can get a full refund including shipping. I hope I can play the bonus stuff. Also does this come with BDLive and if so how does it work if you use BD live from a United Kingdom Blu-ray in the United States?

Anyways I will have my Star Trek Blu-ray some Amazon in the United States and I can send those back also. So I will just keep the one that I like the best. I have until 1-31-2012 to return either edition. My vacation starts on 1-28-2012 so I will figure out which one I am keeping and which one I am sending back before my vacation. I plan on watching everything on the 20 disc set from the UK to see how it works in my Blu-ray players.

Pretty sure the US one is the separate boxsets just sort of shrink-wrapped together, whereas the UK is a proper boxset with all of them inside.

On amazon I did read a few bad reviews regarding the packaging, that's why I still haven't buy it. It's so hard when you only see a little picture of the packaging.

It just came in the mail today from the United Kingdom. I will try to post photos later today or tomorrow. Right now I need to get some sleep as I have been up all night.

I ordered this from Amazon about a year ago and that's exactly how it was. The first two seasons didn't even come with a slipcover.
