Let's start things. Has anyone located the Billboard issue with Taylor on the cover ?

Taylor is definately worthy of her own "official" thread.

I haven't been able to find the new Billboard magazine yet. I've been checking like every day for a week now too.

The one thing I like most about Taylor's story, is that when she first entered the music business, the one thing she wanted was to write and perform her own music. Every major country record label turned her down (and I think some did more than once), but she knew what she wanted, and refused to budge. For her, it wasn't ultimately about money or fame; it was about what she wanted the freedom to say through her songs, and she got it. In a profession with a lot of sell-outs, that was a great way for her to start.

Something that surprised me, though, was when I first saw her sing with Def Leppard at an awards show. For some reason (likely her public image), I'd have never guessed she had a "rocker chick" side, but it was clear she was enjoying it. I don't like much "hard rock" myself, but it was definitely interesting for Taylor to show that side of herself to the public.

There is a newsstand that sells all sorts of magazines near where I live. I might hit it up tomorrow and see if they have this. That price seems pretty steep for a magazine.

I ordered the Billboard magazine on eBay for $14.95 + $4.80 for shipping. I know I could've got it for $12.99 on the Billboard site, but I only have one credit card and unfortunately it is not a card that the Billboard site accepts. So I was pretty much SOL on that. I even looked into getting one of those pre-paid Visa cards to use, but it would've been $4.95 just to activate the card, so the hell with that. Oh well, at least I'm getting the magazine. I should have it by Christmas too. The estimated delivery time is between December 15th and December 21st.

I finally ordered the speak now blanket from her site early this morning. Very happy they have added amazon checkout and offer the free 2day prime

They have several other things on sale because today is her Birthday

Btw I watched her on CMT artist of the year awards. Interesting to see The all American Rejects perform Mean

I got that like when they had the first promotion and it like $25 ( I went to fearless tour and got the $40 but the fearless blanket is really made rough so its most just be for collectors. The Speak now is sparkly tho (link to all american rejects plz mean that outta be intresting.)

Nightshade/Fragile check this out what the store gave me when Speak Now Came out (my room crammed with stuff tho but looks great in there
