40GB PS3 Active

So I just got off work (BB) and I noticed today that when I looked up the information of the 40GB PS3 to show another employee at work...the status went from "not carried at location" to "active". Not exactly sure when this happened but it was since wednesday, as I didn't check thursday and I was off on Friday.

Also, it says Spiderman 3 Movie Pack/Bundle and the in stock date is 10/28/07 (doesn't say blu-ray but why would it be otherwise??). I'm not exactly sure if this has anything to due with the speculation of a big announcement from Sony on the 12th, but this is basically a fact that its happening. The 28th is a Sunday which would put the new release in that week's ad...a few days before the release. That week's Sunday ad is probably going to be covered in spider-man 3 stuff.

If anyone wants to check their local BB and check for themselves just ask someone that works in the media dept to pull up RSS and check for you and maybe educate an employee at the same time. They would have to use the Advance Search option and go to interactive software, then video game hardware, then ps3 and hit enter. Its the 1st one that comes up. Ill let everyone know if I hear anything else.
