Default 2012, the year not the movie, steels ?

So is "Drive" the only steel announced for 2012 so far. It seems like with some steels we know so far in advance and others "Green Lantern BB" we find out like a week before. Have other steels been announced for 2012? Also I must apologize I have only had the Steel bug for a couple months so I am not 100% certain on the release patterns.

Personally I would be happy if less Steelbooks are released especially keeping in mind the global financial crisis threatning to meltdown the economies.

I know I'm not being forced to buy these steelbooks but I just can't help it. I guess at least I haven't gone as far as importing them, only exception was Sucker Punch from GER.

Other than that all my steels are from the UK. The £11.99-£14.99 ones I don't mind because thats the price you would expect to pay for a regular new release but it's HMV's £19.99+ price tags that are killing me! They even put the price UP on Scarface and Fast5.

I was thinking about this earlier and in terms of new releases we've just come out of the barren spell hence the lack of new pre-orders.

I'm sure when the likes of Mission Impossible 4, Sherlock Holmes 2, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo are all up for pre-order will start to see some nice new steelbooks to go with them

Particularly like idea of TGWTDT as a steelbook using the movie poster not the one with the nipples showing though obvious

It will be embossed too right?

And trust HMV to put a steel in their "sale" just as I was trying to prove a point!

Still, Scarface was £17.99 on there but has gone up above £20! And it's £24.99 instore

i was reading the posts from the top and Funny I was thinking the Dragon Tatoo original poster would make for a perfect steel or criterion/fake criterion cover!
