Is the Casino Royale (2006) slip cover rare? - Blu-ray Forum

Is the original slip cover (not the Blu-ray Essentials one) rare? I have a copy of Casino Royale that is still brand new and still in plastic with the slip, so I'm kind of curious what it usually sells for. Thanks guys!

it is not rare.. i just gave one away for free in the slipthread.. its cardboard, if you're going to sell it, its worth no more then 5 bucks with shipping

Here's a pic I just snapped of the front and back. Sorry about the quality, my cell phone camera isn't great. The slipcover is sealed in plastic with the case.

If anybody is interested, I'm open to trades or selling. I know there are some serious slipcover collectors on here, so if you're interested, let me know. I can get better pictures if needed as well.

I really have no idea what a good price for it is. I'd prefer to sell it still sealed with the movie. Feel free to PM me if you're interested.

As nolfoc said it's not rare. Hard to find maybe but rare no. What is it worth? What ever price someone is willing to pay for it. Smart slip hunters will get it for cheap, people that don't do their homework will get ripped off.

It is a cardboard slipcover over a movie that was produced 5 years ago. While the studio is no longer producing *that* particular slipcover, they have produced others for *that* particular movie.

While it is of particular interest to a certain subset of collector, it can still be found in the wild given enough time and patience.

If you are looking to sell it, you either need to price it at a rate where you know you can sell it quickly =or= be willing to wait until that particular collector finds you and pays your asking price.

I'm not looking to sell it for some outrageous price. I have 2 copies of Casino Royale so I'm basically just looking to trade this one for a different Blu-ray. That's why I'd rather keep it sealed instead of just selling the slip by itself.

OK, kind of frustrated with this guy. I sent him a offer of $15 after he sent me a "make me a offer" reply and haven't heard from the guy. Honestly I hate "make me a offer" normally, but really want this for my BD. If I wanted to do that I'd go to eBay or somewhere else
