Brenden Gleeson was hilarious in this film. Not a classic but still worthy to check out. Just watched this film last night and was surprise there was no thread existing for this title.

Watched it a few nights ago and reviewed it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it technically is a Sony Pictures Classic.

Bloody funny movie, but I'm half-hearted in picking it up.

Okay guys, this question is going to seem completely off the wall and stupid, but humor me.
[Show spoiler]How much racist humor is in this film? For example, would you feel comfortable watching the whole thing with a majority black audience? Sorry in advance for how asinine it may sound, but I'm curious.

Huge Gleason fan. (He owns it in In Bruges.) This one is on my watch list for sure.

I personally didn't think there was anything overly racist. Mostly tongue in cheek stereotyping. IMO

Seriously, how freaking hard is it to put the freakin name above the actual actor? I know most probably don't care or notice. My OCD goes crazy over small things like that though.

On a more serious note, I do want to see this sometime. Love both actors. Bought In Bruges for $5 Sunday at Best Buy. Watched it again. Gleeson is great.

Brendan Gleeson is awesome in so many movies. And yeah, he owns In Bruges.
I'll pick this one up when I see it for sure!

Being that it's Sony it is probably region free, but they've released a few lately that have been region A locked. The Sony Pictures Classics, like this one, have been region free in the last year or so such as Another Year and Barney's Version.

I'm still interested if this is region locked because the UK-release is pretty botched.

For someone who is such a "huge" fan, you would think you would know how to spell his name!

Very late reply, but:

"St John The Gambler" and "Highway Kind" by Townes Van Zandt
"Alone & Forsaken" by Hank Williams

Another thing, was disappointing to see some the extras being PAL to NTSC transfers, made things quite shaky to watch.

Forgot how funny this was. Still absolutely hilarious. Desperately needs a video upgrade though.
