Default Warning to all Blu-ray owners...

I am a recovering blu-ray addict, I have fought long and hard to get to where I am now. It took me two years to finally realize what a fool I had made of myself... and here is my story.

It all started on PS3 launch day, back in the day. I was in line at wal mart, gangsterz fighting all around me, shooting each other trying to get a PS3. Luckily, I remembered my bullet-proof vest, and didn't die. My foot was the first to own the door openers face. I got a ps3 and a game to go with it. resistence. I played resistence for 2 days. First the 4 hours it took me to beat the game, then the 8 hours it took me to realize that I was playing doom with pretty graphics and on a global scale. I looked on my ps3 box, and saw "BLU ray disc." That was the first day of the rest of my life.

At first I thought it was just what it did to my dvd's. I thought it turned them blue, which is why I never played any dvds in my ps3. But then a helped at best buy told me about HD. Blu-ray.
My first blu ray movie was some shitty disney movie, I can't remember what it was, but it was better than sex with a cheap dollar ***** with candy coated nipples.
I started collecting blu-ray, dumped my girl cause she wasnt in hd, and was to standard for me.

One day I made a grave mistake.
I didn't know about HD DVD and I saw a movie in the fancy packaging and I figured it was a blu-ray. I took 300 home and put it into my blu-ray player, but it didn't work. It says, make sure it is a blu-ray disc.

It was like a slap in the face
I leapt of my house in an attempt to kill myself.
Now, I warn all of you, be careful how you obsess about this format, it could take control of your life. Me Im just lucky I only broke my arm.

I just hope i can watch blu-ray movies again soon, however... I might not be up to it.

I read the first two sentences and passed out. What did I miss. Does this post really deserve our attention?

yeah i picked up 300 on blu-ray and then watched the hd dvd version over at my friends house. for some reason the red version didn't sound as nice, maybe thats cause it didn't have the space for pcm because its only 30GB and they had to put a ps1 300 videogame on it

I am not sure what you guys are talking about, as I just came here to issue a friendly warning. I think you will be happy to know I set my PS3 up again today and celebrated by watching fantastic four.

I took the 300 disc and gave it to my sister.
I dont know what she did with it

The fact that this is even being discussed is sick and wrong.
I hope the creator of this thread was joking. For his sake.

Or reversely, I hope he does leave her, than she does not have a complete shallow loser for a boyfriend
