Default Survey from Warner Bros

I just got an email from Warner promoting the HD version of Return to House on Haunted Hill.

Along with that email was a "Which of the following films would you be most interested in owning in Hi-Def?" link.

Choices were:

-Interview with the Vampire

-Bonnie and Clyde

-L.A. Confidential

-Cool Hand Luke

-Natural Born Killers

-Dirty Harry

I chose Natural Born Killers and Interview with a Vampire

I know Warner supports BD and HD-DVD, but I find it a little suspicious that this poll could be interpertated as an "HD-DVD preferred" poll. They should know better to specify both formats in the questioning considering the format war.

For sheer paranoia sake, I would refrain from voting. - Not to spread FUD, just being cautious. This is war and you never know who asked them to put up that poll.

When I signed up for the Warner newsletter I checked "Preferred Home Movie Format: Blu Ray" so I'd hope they'd know my preference. Hopefully they also know I want the Blu versions but who knows.

I selected NBK, I remember watching that on TV many years ago, and although I only saw part of it, it looked rather interesting, I was recently thinking that it'd be good if they brought this over to Blu

All of the above!

Personally, I'm drooling at the possibility of "Cool Hand Luke" and "Dirty Harry".

Yeah, even though they were all existing-slate selections for the next Action title, I took it as "Is there more customer interest in Recent titles or Classic titles next?"
And even it means voting for Harry/Luke, some of us fans have to work overtime at redeeming the image of Classic Catalaogue on Blu, or we'll never acheive that dream of Genre Diversity!

(And what is it with the watching old Oliver Stone scripts anyway?...What is, this, 1994?)
