I hope the artwork is the same as the Alliance version from Canada, but without the blue banner on top. Would save me a lot of hassle if it were.

Not bad, not bad all. Would buy it if i didnt already own the normal cased version. But for gods sakes when are they going to release the artwork for The Thing, its like the last one left now.

They put up artwork for the Thing ages ago but quickly removed it. It was horrible imo

Love that artwork. I have the Reel Heroes version so I won't be double-dipping but I'd snap that up in a heartbeat if I didn't.

Much better than the anemic Shaun of the Dead artwork.

Am I the only one that thinks this second wave of steels is pretty poor in comparison to the first, and the first wave for me was very hit and miss, (I only got Kick Ass, Inc Hulk and American Werewolf, I have Serenity on order along with the frightners but Im still undecided on that one) of the exclusives on offer from Play, the Fox steels and the upcoming Paramount centenary editions are head and shoulders above the Universal ones, the Shaun of the dead and Hot fuzz dont look all that great, if the things artwork looks the same I wont be giving that shelf space.... Im glad Im not one of those obsessive steelbook collectors as Im saving money by not buying em

As much as I want this I'm not going to give in and pick this up. I have way too many pre-orders and at least I have this on DVD for now. I dont think it looks that bad though. Quite cool IMO

Not a fan of the artwork used.

Looks like it's back to the original plan of picking up the Alliance steelbooks for SOTD and HF, and simply swapping the discs.

i'm kinda glad both SOTD and HF are ugly that way i can keep the canadian steels and don't have to double dip
