Our theater didn't show the Lion King 3D excerpt with Cars 2 (well, there was one, but it was in 2D)--
Did it turn up on Youtube3D?

(Had to settle for the "Timon & Pumbaa explain Blu3D" clip from the old Disney CES Christmas Carol/demo disk: )

Cars 2 3D will also be released on Blu-ray 3D in the fourth quarter of the year, but no date or specs have been given, other than that it will be a 3DBD/BD/DC Super Play set.

As I've already reported in the other threads, they will be announced soon, but rest assured, they ARE coming, and they should be released the same week as the UK releases...at the same time as Cars 2 in 2D and 3D! And even if they aren't announced for the US, all 3D titles from Disney have been region free so far. I also have seen retailer info pointing to a release of Up the same day as the others, but that one doesn't show up in my main source of info...so that's the only one I'm not 100% sure on.

These are all very official. The images are off Play.com and the dates are taken from the BVA. The only date that is speculation is The Lion King, but it is coming.

This is excellent news! Especially as the dates aren't too far of our US friends, meaning I don't have to pay double the RRP to get them!

I think I am most excited about your Up rumor. I hope it is true.

Brilliant. Cannot wait for the Toy Story's to be released. Haven't seen #3 in nearly a year so well worth the wait to get it in 3D, although I hope these aren't the final covers, I like them but there is no sense of consistency between the three and I'd like them all to have original artwork like the Toy Story cover rather than the re-release cover of Toy Story 2 or the promo picture cover on Toy Story 3.

Anyway, cannot wait, should be brilliant. And Nightmare and Lion King should be ace. Huge bunch of 3D releases coming out in the next few months my wallet's gonna suffer!

I just came back from BB with 3, 3D movies. My wallet is hurting now and that's not counting 2D Blu Rays that I want.

If for some reason they decide not to release this in the U.S. yet, I'm wondering now if those Toy Storys will play in my player since it plays the U.K. Bonds Beyond Time?

I like this thread. A couple of the people in the UK Disney thread really annoy me every time somebody mentions 3D just going on a hate campaign for it. Anybody think it's just jealousy that they don't own a 3D tv

Really looking forward to this though. I don't even mind double dipping

I must be the luckiest man alive to not have any of the sets besides The Beauty and the Beast.
I waited for the Toy Story trilogy to be released in 3D since TS3's release on blu, I canceled my order on the Nightmare Before Christmas when I saw a 3D trailer saying "Coming Soon" in a retailer, the Lion King will be a new one (obviously ) and as for BatB, the diamond edition here in Greece had only the extended edition of the movie, 1 new bonus feature and the DVD bonus features so I planned on getting it from the UK anyway

Getting the same ones but already have Toy Story 3 on BD (I held off on 1 and 2 and Nightmare in the hopes that 3D versions would be released and I'm glad I did!)
