The Hurt Locker Steelbook - status? - Blu-ray Forum

With The Hurt Locker due out next Monday 13th I've usually had a shipping email from HMV by now as they tend to ship on the wednesday prior - anybody had any notification of shipment yet?

I placed my order for To Kill A Mockingbird with HMV as well which comes out on the same day as Hurt Locker and that has shipped.

Yes. I checked that on the HMV website on Friday and it said 27/02/12.

I just checked there now again and it says 'now shipping' and the release date is back to Feb 13. Tomorrow.

i noticed this too, Play.com have this released for the 13th of this month whereas Amazon have the 17th

Also mine is still showing as "Item pre-ordered not yet issued by supplier" with HMV.

Also, if there is a Blu Ray release on a Monday, my local HMV store usually has the product on the shelves on the previous friday!!

This happened recently with the Drive Steelbook. It was not meant to be released until the Monday and two days earlier it had sold out in the store. Luckliy I happened to go in early on the Friday morning and pick one up for myself. A lot of people missed out on it because of this. I mean, what's the point of having a release date pre arranged then?

I checked last Friday for the Hurt Locker Steelbook but there was no sign of it. I doubt if it will be available by tomorrow.
