Aquaplus is bringing their crossover fighting game, Aquapazza, to PlayStation 3. Famitsu reports the console version comes home in June and it will have features and characters not in the arcade version.

Chizuru Kashiwagi from Leaf's visual novel Kizuato and Oboro from Utawarerumono join the roster as playable characters. Llyr from Tears to Tiara and Serika Kurusugawa from the To Heart series are console-only support characters.

Aquapazza for PS3 will also have a score attack mode, gallery pictures to unlock, a story mode, and online play.

Well it was an arcade game, but only in Japan of course so that's probably why you haven't heard of it.

It's a crossover game with some of the characters from Aquaplus/Leaf's visual novel dating sim and SRPG games. It's developed by Examu.

As you can probably tell by the pics, the gameplay is something like Tekken Tag Tournament but as more like supporters.

Aquaplus is working on a console version of Aquapazza, a 2D crossover fighting game created by Arcana Heart developer Examu. Unique to Aquapazza is the Active Emotion System, which changes your fighter's performance depending on their emotions.

You deal more damage if your spirits are high, but take more damage if your character's spirits are low. Smashing an enemy's guard and being aggressive switches your character to a high emotional state while turtling drops your character's sensitivity. You can see your character's mood by looking at their character portriat.

Aquapazza has new features for the console release like a training mode, score attack, online play, and another story. There are a few extra characters in this release too. The rumor is true, Aquapazza, the fighting game with characters from Tears to Tiara and To Heart 2 will be localized. Atlus picked the PlayStation 3 title up and it will be released as a retail game. Aquapazza is slated for release this November, a source tells Siliconera.

Atlus USA announced on Wednesday that it will release the 2D fighting game AquaPazza in North America. The PlayStation 3 game will feature all the content through the current Japanese arcade version of AquaPazza, which includes new characters and improvements for tournament-grade action. The game will feature the original Japanese voice track.

The game will ship in North America this holiday season for US$29.99, and will also be available as a digital download.

The fighting game pits characters from bishōjo game maker AQUAPLUS' previous titles such as Tears to Tiara, To Heart, Kizuato, and Utawarerumono against one another. The game features 13 playable characters and 13 partners to choose from, and an additional hidden character. In the game players can use combos, partner attacks, and chains to defeat opponents. Players can also challenge opponents online.

Examu, the creator of the Japanese fighting game franchise Arcana Heart, developed AquaPazza as a 2D arcade game that was released in Japan in June 2011. The PS3 version shipped in Japan in August 2012.

Atlus have shared a new trailer for AquaPazza, the crossover fighting game featuring AquaPlus characters. Included in the game’s roster are characters from To Heart 2, and they’re the focus of this trailer.

AquaPazza will be available for PlayStation 3 on November 19th in North America.

Aquapazza is a mashup of characters, most of which have never been seen outside of Japan. The Tears to Tiara crew come from one of Leaf’s tactical RPG.

Arawn, the sword wielding dude, is the protagonist and slayer of a demon king. He rescues Riannon who was sacrifice for the demon summoning ritual. Riannon falls for Arawn head over heels and becomes his first wife. Morgan, the archer in the beginning of the video, is Arawn’s second wife. Arawn actually has more wives just in case Aquaplus ever makes a sequel to Aquapazza. I suppose they could throw some characters from Tears to Tiara II in there as well.

Aquapazza comes out next week in North America.
