Thank You very much for the confirmation.
I was wondering would you know what the limit I can import without having to pay import taxes? They are charging me an Extra 4.51 euros for taxes up front should that cover it? My items would total under $250 before shipping charges so I thought I was all good.

US Customs allows individuals to import up to $200/day for personal use. If it exceeds that then there is a 2.6% customs fee.

How is it being shipped; e.g. what method? If it ships via UPS Express then you should only be charged the customs fee (routine customs clearance (for entries up to five classification lines) is included at no additional cost). If it ships via a slower service via UPS, USPS, FedEx, or DHL then they may also add a surcharge for paying for the custom fees up front and for completing any necessary paperwork (entry preparation fees).

Also, Mothman Prophecies has been reported to be region free in this thread.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=183783

You can also view the blu-ray profile page for each of the movies, assuming it exists, and click on the Region Coding link to see if any member has previously reported the region coding of the disk.

Yea I was going to use amazon.de express. on 15 items at 210ish but 256 with shipping no customs fee but I added a 16th item and the total is 230ish with customs tax and del. 280. If I read it correctly I should not have to pay anymore than 280 even if customes fees are alittle higher b/c they cover it if the miscalculate what they charge you. Unless they over charged you they refund the money but it is only like 6 extra bucks. I just wanted to make sure that when my package arrived they don't ask for 50 bucks to release it.

It sucks I can't find the region codes on these anywhere unless someone owns them. I've been to like 10 web pages and done google.de searches. And now I'm wondering about the breaking and entering as everywhere I see it It's region B locked and I know accorrding to everywhere the UK and AU are. Now except for some wierd bluray site selling it for like 5 bucks claims they have it region free. But didn't say what country of orgin of the disc was it could be the German release but seems odd that all other releases would be locked but the German release.

Amazon estimating customs fees is relatively new for the european sites so I'm not sure what would happen. However, it's highly probable that either the shipping company or Amazon will seek reimbursement if the customs charges are higher than expected. For blu-rays however it's very unlikely that Amazon would have miscalculated the customs fees; they may even error a bit on the high side at times.

Amazon has the following customs info listed on their Amazon.de site:

http://www.amazon.de/gp/help/custome...0564179&sr=1-1

I forgot to mention that US custom fees do not apply to the shipping and handling fees.

I just took my rough total and did the percent you said and it is pretty close to what the import tax would be. Thank you
I wasn't sure because I have never order from Germany only the UK and never over 100 bucks.

I just checked the Amazon.de site and it looks like they're using 2.7% to calculate the estimated customs fee. Maybe they're charging 0.1% for the customs paperwork that is automated.

You sure on MBFGW? Only reason I ask is the back indicates a B lock (not that it couldn't be wrong).

Also I'ld always assumed the German disc for Breaking and Entering was the same as the B locked UK disc, is it nor or did they drop the locking at some point?

Edit: Taking a look at it, HD-Reporter has some titles that I own and know for a fact to be region-free marked as locked. I have no idea what they are doing.

I guess I'll take the chance on it. I Hope they are right. Total guess but it was kind of popular when it came out and Univerum tend to be region free. So I would assume they might try to make it RF as no one else has released it.
Breaking and Entering another member said it was RF but I am unsure about that. It seems weird that they would drop the region lock for germany. It is not like it is a different studio.
I'll take a second look at hd-reporter.de again but that was thier specs

I would recommend picking up an Insignia player and not have to worry about region-locked import titles....BB just lowered the price

Are those players normal region free or modified by BBY. I always try to find these and look at reviews and they never say they are RF. Also I was considering the panny bp75 and would have bought that along time ago but always says region A. So I assumed these were special or hacked.
I may have to pick one of them up. I've been half assed looking for a while just never looked to hard but finding more and more overseas blus I want. Catalog titles being release in U.S. is a bit slow and some movies may never be released here.

They aren't region free right out of the box, but it literally takes about 5 minutes to downgrade the firmware and unlock the region free capabilities....check out that thread I linked for more info.

Yea I've been over there checking things out. Thanks I was wondering why I could never find it listed as being RF or I would have bought one along time ago. But now RF is becoming more of a need for more than it was before.

I have a confirmed B lock for Basic and the back of the case for From Paris with Love lists "B" as well.

Thank You I apperciate it. Rather than deal with this region lock I have just bought an insignia and will unlock it when I get it but atleast I now will be able to check discs and update some foreign titles on region coding. I didn't know it was as easy as it is and now they are cheap 53 bucks from bestbuy
