[3D/PSP HD-Remaster/Adhoc Party] K-ON!: After School Live!! HD Version

Sega's hopping aboard Sony's PSP Remasters program, but not with Valkyria Chronicles or Phantasy Star Portable as you might have hoped. Their first PSP Remaster will be the rhythm game K-ON! After School Live!!.

K-ON! After School Live!! HD Ver. is slated for release sometime during early summer, according to this week's Famitsu magazine. The game will support save data-sharing with the PSP version, stereoscopic 3D display, and multiplayer via Adhoc Party.

Don't expect any trophies to be in the game just like how the Monster Hunter one didn't and images are from PSP version.

Oh don't be discouraged by that since that doesn't mean it won't happen. Heck maybe if this sells well, then Sega might do it for Valkyria Chronicles II and III and maybe it can be in a collection with both games on 1 Blu-ray disc.

Well, isn't this an interesting pick from Sega for an HD Remaster. I never bought this game back when it was released on PSP, but the fact that this game will now be on PS3 + 3D has gotten me interested in importing this version of the game. Would be nice if Sega included season two songs in this remastered version of the game. Hopefully we see an HD Remaster of Valkyria Chronicles 2 and 3 sometime in the future from Sega.
