one would hope Blade II will be released as well, or it will be like the Rush Hour series....

Despite how long I've been waiting for these, I'll be passing if they only release the first and the final chapters. We shall see.

The Dutch imports of Blade and Blade 2 are both spectacular and region-free. Well worth it...

We can only hope for the best for these being released in USA. But it is odd that Blade II is MIA. Perhaps soon the webmaster will confirm the status.

Right, if you can find it without having to pay a arm and a leg.

If these announcements are concrete I just hope there's a box set with Blade and Blade II in their OAR because both of these are wrong in Canada.

Blade 2 is my favorite, but I'll take 1 and 3 and hope that 2 is released as well

Default I thought Canada's Blade 2 was good.

Wasn't it only the first one that was incorrect OAR?

Can someone confirm this? I would just buy the Canada #2 to complete the American releases of 1 and 3.

Thanks!

I liked all 3 of them. I thought that Ryan, Jessica & Parker really added to the movies entertainment value. for me anyway the scenes with Parker, HHH & Ryan were some of the funniest for me!

Day 1 pick up for me, no question!

I do hope they release B2 either as part of the trilogy or as a standalone soon after; preferably as a trilogy though.

Blade 2 is 1.78:1 as apposed to the OAR of 1.85:1

Thanks for the info!

Makes no sense why they would not release all 3.

As someone pointed out above Blade II was cropped from 1.85:1 to 1.78:1. Check my altered aspect ratios thread if you're curious which titles have been changed.

Then it wasn't cropped, it was opened up. No information lost, there.

edit: Okay as many have pointed out, this isn't always true, particularly if there's an open-matte filming so forgive my original generalization

When the number is smaller than the original aspect ratio, it means something has been cropped. 1.78:1 is smaller than 1.85:1

[Show spoiler]

There's a difference between open matte and cropped. Blade II was cropped.

Does New Line only like dealing in odd numbers: 1....3...
Still glad to finally see a US release for 2/3 of this trilogy. Better than nothing which is what we've had so far.
