Amazon put this in my Gold Box yesterday so I pre-ordered it then.

Since I don't have any of the seasons on blu yet, I've been thinking about just waiting until the show is over and buying the complete collection when it comes out, but I feel like I can't wait until then haha

Does anyone who have these know if all of the cases are the same size? Just curious, as it's one thing that bugs me a little about Breaking Bad, with Season One being a small case, and the rest of the seasons being larger.

Well #1, to this day I consider Dexter the best blind Blu-ray purchase I have ever made and its not likely to ever get trumped. I bought seasons 1-3 blind in 2009 and ended up watching all 3 seasons in 3 days. Dexter 's.


#2 there is a good reason that season 1 of Breaking Bad is in a small case as there were only 7 episodes vs 13 for the other seasons.

Well, it wouldn't be a blind buy for me as I'm already up to date on the series - I just want it on blu now


And yeah, I know Season One of Breaking Bad was only 7 episodes, so that's why the case is smaller, but it still bugs me a little whenever I look at it next to the others

Anyway, seems it isn't too difficult to get these seasons for around $20 or so, so it's very tempting to pick all of the previous ones up. That's not to say I wouldn't sell them whenever the full set comes out if it's awesome enough to double-dip on.

When its all done i'd like to see 'Dexter The Complete Series' in a blood slide box along with a few blood slides.

Well its been difficult for me,finally got Dexter Seasons 3-4-5 during the GoHastings' Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off(along with John Carter),but still can't find Season 1 & 2 for a good price,have only seen the 1st few episodes of Season 1 back when I believe CBS aired it during the summer a few years ago,but plans to air the other seasons dropped(and of course the Seasons were that were gonna be aired were gonna be edited,and be behind,as Season 3 was airing on Showtime I think during the Season 1 run)and decided to get those seasons while they were that price,and can always get the 1st 2 down the line cheaper,have a large-enough unwatched pile that I can live with it,but not been easy for me thats for sure.

The cases are all the same size but I'm always amazed at the lack of uniformity in regards to the packaging design on these things. I'm not one to actually get upset about this sort of thing but it's funny to see them arbitrarily change every element (logos, title size etc.) on the spine with every new Dexter release.

i dont know why i waited long to try to get them on blu, cheapest ive seen them is season 1-3 for $10 each at a pawn shop, now i regret not getting them because it was gonna be a blind buy
now i have to stick to the dvd's because the blus never drop in price

I will be picking this up, IMO this season was the the weakest season. Really hope season 7 is great like 4 & 5. Great season finally though
