Default A new home theater system

What are some of your opinions on a Onkyo TX-sr705 with Kilpsch Quintet III with a 10' Synergy? Is anyone using M-Audio speaker? (Studiophile BX8a) How are M-Audio speakers in general?

Samsung HP-S4253 Plasma with PS3 60GB.

First - Yes we do have feedback on the subject. It's early so there are not many people posting right now so lay off.

I have the Quintet III w/ a 10" sub and those little speaker have a lot of punch. For the price that the speakers and sub cost it is really hard to beat. There are more high end systems out there, but these sound pretty good as well. I am not sure of the Onkyo, I do that they have had some overheating issues. You will have to wait on an opinion on the M-audio stuff.

Yamaha RX-V661. It isn't the most complex receiver. It isn't Dolby HD or anything. But it does have the HMDI inputs, and puts out more than enough power and pretty darn good. For the time being (and finacial status) this receiver is perfect for my needs.

I have heard OF them. I have not had the joy of actually hearing them. They are the reference version of the quintet. Like I said I have not actually listened to them so my opinion of those speakers would be based on Klipsch's reputation. So in that case, they are amazing little speakers.

Why satellites? Try bookshelf speakers that handle 60/70-20khz range. The sound is fuller and better for music as well. Won't cost you more since you are consider M-Audio. Also, low-mid end HSU or SVS sub....used or B-Stock.

Ah- Moving to new house. I want to have small satellites and mounted and the plasma above the fireplace. I be running all the wire to a side closet, where the ps3 and new receiver will be.
