Default Warner Steelbooks - $9.99 each at Best Buy, 6/3 thru 6/9 - REDUX

If this thread--which looks to have been lost in its entirety during the site database loss--has been reproduced elsewhere, of course this can be merged/deleted.

One of the issues being discussed at the time of the site problem was that a few of these titles have been removed from the Best Buy Website entirely. The Last Samurai and The Shawshank Redemption are examples. Odd that these SKUs are not still showing at the site but just with zero stock.

Are folks still seeing these in stores, or is there significant correspondence between what titles are being removed from the site and titles that are sold out in stores? There was talk of additional stock being available next week. Apparently that is not the case?

June 17, 2012 revision/addition:

For posterity and reference, here is the slate of 20 titles released and their SKUs. Be advised that, per the above comments, some of these SKUs are no longer showing up at the Best Buy site upon searching for them. However, anecdotal word indicates that those titles are still out there on some store shelves. Too bad the disappearance of said SKUs from the Best Buy site makes it more difficult to track them down and perhaps have other members local to a store that has them in stock mail them to those who want them.

Was there yesterday, didn't see anymore Last Samurai but there were still about 3 shawshank redemptions left. I almost grabbed one but I truly hate Tim Robbins as an actor even though it is a good flick.

I went to BBY yesterday and was going to buy TDK but they didn't have it, but I did find 3 though. (The Hangover, Safe House, and Batman Begins)

I can't find the Matrix on the website now. I saw 1 of it at a store the other day, but didn't get it. I may go out today and try to track it down.

Got the Hangovers and the Batmans. My BB, which sucks on everything else, was fan-freaking-tastic with these SB's!

My local store, which hadn't been moving many blu's or steels (preorders) at all, managed to move some of these. My store had every single one that I could think of when I was there a few days ago, except The Matrix and Shawshank.

/edit: I have all 20

I got all LOTR, The Book of Eli, and The Matrix. I'm still debating if I should get TDKR.

Was able to get Inception, LOTR: TT, and LOTR: ROTK. I did pick-up so I don't know how many steelbooks that BB had left.

Anyone have problems with the "Gran Torino" cases. Every case I looked at had defects in them. Going to try one from BB.com next. 3 different BB locations and every one of them had some kind of defect in the paint or loose disc in the cases.

Was not planning on buying any of these, then I went Tuesday to pick up John Carter and Act of Valor and ended up getting 300, Clash of the Titans, Sherlock Holmes, and Matrix.

Gran Torino is the best movie in this BB steelbook selection.
I've already 2 Gran Torino Blu-Ray steelbooks, 2 regular blu-ray's and 4 DVD's, otherwise I would have bought another GT release .

I picked up book of eli during the sale, only $9.99, gonna go back for the LOTR trilogy and the matrix as well, the matrix has a killer cover. I wish i could've picked up all i wanted during the sale, but my budget was tight that week. The off sale price is $14.99 though which is pretty sweet for me to further my steelbook collection.
