I thought it was great and will be picking it up day 1 on BD, a must-see for all fans of the first two.

My 6 year old liked it, but it was a pretty generic boring film - I nodded off a bunch of times. The best scene is with the chimpanzee bananna gatlin gun.

And the 3D was a complete waste of money - I cant believe theaters are getting away with dimly lit, dark 3D projections.

I wish theaters would get 3D inspection grades as they do with restautants.

I had the exact same experience. My two boys enjoyed it, but I fell asleep for a little bit. I hope they stop making these.

We really enjoyed it (2 adults and 4 kids). It had a lot of nice adult laughs, some borderline for kids. Very entertaining, I didn't go in with high expectations either as Madagascar 2 was rather bland.

Madagascar 3 was somewhat twisted/disturbing

That "Afro Circus" song is the most irritating thing I have ever heard...and I only head 15 seconds' worth in the trailer. I can't imagine how unbearable it must be at full length.

The sequel has grown on me a lot but the other adults who saw it with me were entertained as well and laughed even more than I did.

it's sort of funny but annoying that they merge the Afro Circus song with the We Like to Move It Move It song. Too mish moshy.

Pretty funny. Better than the first one and about the same as the first one.

Wife and I took our daughter to see it and she loved it as much as we did. I liked the fact that they gave the penguins more screen time.

I myself enjoyed this movie and it brings the series to more closure. I was worried about how it would turn out at first but it's like Toy Story 3, it lived up to high expectations and there some moments that made me laugh. I'll buy the DVD first then the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack (I know, I've gone against everything I said, but what choice do have? I wish companies could offer a DVD release, a Blu-ray, and a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack).

Definite buy. I am a fan of the trilogy (I really don't want questions asked but I love the first). I saw this in theaters and this'll be a great way to complete it. By the way Afro Circus is done very tastefully in the movie

"DVD + Blu-ray"?

Hopefully it's in a Blu-ray sized case.

They literally only play it twice for like 10 seconds a piece and then again for the credits.

I personally haven't seen this, I've heard good things about it though. I'll wait for the blu-ray to come out.

Really hope Paramount/Dreamworks doesn't pull the same crap last year with what they did with Kung Fu Panda 2 having it as a October release and than changing it to a December release which was highly annoying. This was a entertaining movie I look forward to adding this to my collection and completing the trilogy!
