Germany Halloween VI - The Curse of Michael Myers

Seems like Halloween 6 is coming out in Germany in october. Maybe better 1080p transfer than US/CA that only got 1080i. But probably cut like Halloween 4

The 16 rated version is cut, the 18 rated version is "uncut" (R-Rated).

Does Germany always release two different versions, it's only 2 years between so don't see the financial bearing but I won't complain as long as there is a uncut alternative. Wasn't Halloween 4 only released in cut form? Read some unhappy posts.

The cut rated 16 version was most likely created for easy availability in case the 18 rated version should end up on the German index, and it did, 10 years after being released to VHS in 1996. Though the 18 rated version could still be had, but under very restricted conditions.

Same case. There has always been two versions, 16 cut and 18 "uncut" (R-Rated).

Altersfreigabe:
FSK: Freigegeben ab 18 Jahren

Disc-Features sind derzeit nicht bekannt, "Cut", 16:9 Vollbild, Wendecover (ggf. nur Teil der Erstauflage)

so its cut even for the 18 rating

Yeah that's what I heard also. Not the first time they have cut even the 18 disc. Another example is From Dusk till Dawn.

It depends. German companies love to release censored rated 16 versions of movies that were once rated 18. In most cases if the disc is rated 18 its because of explicit bonus material, while the actual movie is rated 16.
However, it doesn't say so on the disc. When the movie is rated 16 and the bonus material is 18 they will always print the highest rating on the disc without explaining what was rated (movie or bonus material).

That makes it pretty impossible to know if something is cut before buying it if you don't wait for reviews. Seems like most german discs is the same but uncut if you buy them in Switzerland or Austria. Though hard to find good cheap web-shops for those discs

Sorry to bring an old thread back, but I wanted to ask if the version of Halloween 6 is cut in the German Blu-ray mediabook.
