looks nice, however, if BB or Walmart come out with a steelbook, I'll be buying the steelie over this.

I will get this if no steel is offered.

So far, this seems to be the version with the most bonus materials.

Walmart's the only other one with exclusive bonus materials, but it's only available as VUDU download. Target's the only one with the bonus materials on disc

even if there happened to be a steelbook, it wouldn't have Target's special features anyway though

My comment was that Target's version has the MOST extras, not necessarily the only one with exclusives.

Check out this page: http://www.target.com/c/hunger-games...rd_hungergames .

There is a video previewing some of the exclusive content. Also, it looks like the Blu-ray packaging will be slightly shorter than the DVD exclusive, so it won't stick out when placed alongside other Blus on the shelf.

This is the version I'm getting but only because I hate giant floating heads on covers. This is simple but elegant. All covers for newer films should be like this.

Can one preorder this and have it shipped or is it in-store only? Every time I go to pick up an exclusive at Target they're sold out. You have to literally camp out at the store before they open.

I would pre-order online to be on the safe side, on the off chance that stores don't even carry it (such as the Cowboys and Aliens Steelbook situation). You can always return online orders to Target stores in case you change your mind.

based on the picture this set contains only blu-ray discs right? no dvds. and since there isn't a picture of the back of the box for the blu-ray has it been confirmed that it will come with a digital copy like the dvd collectors and standard versions?

The picture that I posted in the OP includes a shot of the back of the slipcover. It looks like this version will include a Digital Copy.

the picture in the OP is of the dvd version, and on target's site the bluray doesn't have the back of the box included in the item photo. I would think it's a safe bet though that they will be pretty much identical. i was just seeing if anyone knew for sure.
