A thread for posting scenes from movies that are sad but at the same time, uplifting.
This doesn't include scenes that are so beautiful that bring a tear to your eye. Infact, it's the opposite. Really sad scenes but uplifting for some reason.

Please post the name of the movie as well. Don't just post a video.

Titanic - Rose jumps back onboard. The music and the flare in the sky as Rose looks at Jack really make this scene great.

titanic you jump i jump HD - YouTube

Can't post videos here at work, but the following come to mind right away:

"John Carter" toward the middle, where Carter has a flashback of
[Show spoiler]burying his dead family
while hacking through whole hoard of Tharks.

"The Dark Knight's" final scenes, with Jim Gordon's final speech.

"Braveheart's" ending,
[Show spoiler]where William Wallace gets beheaded (I think he was drawn-and-quatered in real life though; one of many historical inaccuracies ).

"The Passion's" ending; the whole movie's depressing, but then there's the Resurrection.
