The 1982 film adaptation of the Broadway musical “Annie” directed by John Huston and starring Aileen Quinn is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 2nd via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment according to an early alert to retailers. The film co-starred Albert Finney, Carol Burnett, Bernadette Peters, Tim Curry, Ann Reinking and Geoffrey Holder. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The title is already available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with an affordable $10.49 price tag. Below you’ll find a list of bonus materials set to be included on the release.
