about this profile 1.1 thing - Blu-ray Forum

Hello,

Technology never ceases to amaze me. just when you think you understand it, there is something new around the corner that makes sure you are behind the knowledge ...

i'm not entirely sure what this profile 1.1 thing is, i just know it brings more functionalities. so my question is simple: does profile 1.1 need a hardware upgrade or just software (firmware) will be enough ?

in short, will i have to throw away my ps3 and buy some other player or not as far as profile 1.1 is concerned ?
