Although it looks like a simple repackage and nothing really new, I love box sets and by the looks of this I will be picking it up. Hopefully a price is released soon on Best Buy.com. There seems to be no information as of yet, and it will be released in less than a month!

I'm a DVD collector by nature, and not really a Blu-Ray collector, but there are several films that I will buy in Blu-Ray that have been released / are coming out soon / have not been announced. I will typically buy every Disney film in Blu-Ray and any superhero film.

Any collection, also, I typically try to grab in Blu-Ray, especially ones I don't have like the Planet of the Apes (which I've yet to get).

Collections like this make me happy so I can't wait ^_^

Hopefully it'll be around $50 and nothing more

If the original Terminator film isn't a remastered version, I'm going to skip this.

From what I am hearing Warner bought the rights to the first two Terminator films which is why this set is being released. Rumor has it that it may be a new transfer. Funny though, you would think that if it was we would have heard more about it.

Even though I already own the last three Terminator films on Blu-Ray I would be in for this.
Since I just can't get the T2 Blu-Ray disc to play at all, this just may fix that problem. Well as long as it's just not the same disc but with different artwork on it.

I'm hoping that the studio (WB) will release more details as the release date draws closer. If the video codec for this edition of The Terminator happens to be MPEG-4 AVC*, it could be a positive sign that they're including a remastered version of this film, as the original film was an MPEG-2 encode (*MPEG-4 AVC is listed as the video codec for the Canadian release in mid-September).

Yeah, this is getting kinda silly. A week away and all we have are some tiny photos of what the set supposively looks like.

Hearing the news about their financial misery I think they probably don't have the budget to snap a few pics of the final product
