Because we can't order on target.com with shipping to Canada, we are stuck with the regular release...

Haven't heard of that exclusive appearing in Canada...

-HMV's comes with a film cell
-Wal-Mart's comes with a Mockingjay pendant
-Future Shop has 2 different steelbooks
-Best Buy has a $45 box set, but I'm not sure what the contents are

The Best Buy box set is supposed to have exclusive special features and some kind of limited number collectible but they are keeping exactly what that collectible is secret. Supposed to be very limited. The box looks pretty nice.

From the pics, I think it looks like there is room in there to store the other titles in the series as they're released, but I'm probably wrong.

Possibly if they release the others in the same kind of packaging since the movie is in a square shaped cardboard book looking thing and not a standard Blu-Ray case. Pictures also don't show the mystery collectible though to determine if it is something that would keep being stored in the box or out on display.

I think I'll choose a Steelbook from Future Shop and that's it.

I never read the book nor see the movie, but I liked Battle Royale and I'm sure I'll like that "similare but different" movie!

How important is the Mockingjay logo in the story? It is only related to the girl or her district or the game itself? Thanks!

It's symbolic to her and the district to begin with.
But it goes way beyond that in the second and especially in the third book which is titled Mockingjay.

I think I'll choose the Mokingjay Steelcover, even if the District one looks cool. The Mokingjay symbol seems to be very representative for the series.

But I also like the regular cover with Katniss... The choice is very hard to make!

Bestbuy.com now list that the numbered collectible is in fact just the packaging. Lame.
