Best Buy Exclusive

Was looking on Best Buy's website tonight and found that they are going to have a exclusive collectors edition of The Hunger Games. I was about to take a print screen pic of the set thats on their site. Here is the link for it as well.

Looks like it is priced at 39.99 and it doesn't look like there is a steelbook but I could be wrong.

there is also another exclusive priced at $49.99. SKU: 20336425

Ya I had noticed that too and wondering what that one could be unless its a misprint of some sort and I don't think it would be the steelbook, but I've realized someone already reported about this exclusive in another thread.

I put that skew in on the website and it doesn't provide any search results. Also, searching "Hunger Games" reveals no such item either. Where do you get this info from?

I'll check the other sku on Monday when I'm at work, but I think this edition is pretty cool. Seems as if when the other films come out, they're going to be in a boxed version that'll fit inside the box with the others.

Well, I had a RZ cert so I'm in for the $39.99 version. The $49.99 sku wasn't available for in-store pickup (at least for me). Guess the "numbered acrylic keepsake" is in that teeny-tiny box? Kinda feel like I'm paying for a big empty box, lol. With less than 2 weeks to go, I would have hoped that Best Buy's description would have been more... well, descriptive.

Hope what I've pre-ordered actually exists.

Very odd that an exclusive of a title with this level of popularity is not even searchable on the site. Best Buy really needs a complete overhaul of their site. When I type in "Hunger Games (Best Buy Exclusive)", and the site takes me to gift cards... your site's got issues, BB.

The $40.00 is the one that was $50.00 a while ago when I ordered it and it dropped in price. (Sku # 5895057)

I'm hoping that updates the price correctly on the one that I have ordered because I ordered it with the Hunger Games keychain and if I cancel and re-order they'll charge me for the keychain.

The $50 one might be a mistake, or online only (which is why it has more numbers in the sku, but it's most likely a mistake).

True, but if I enter in a SKU number it should take me to that product page, whether the item is available or not. Not give me "No results". If you type in just "Hunger Games", it also doesn't show up. When the fastest way to find something on your site is through a Google search and not through your site, then your site is broken. With less than 2 weeks, BB should be advertising the heck out of an exclusive, not hiding it in an obscure unsearchable part of their site.

Oh well, no matter... I've got my order in for my big empty box, lol.

Nice, that means it's worth it. I was unsure of going for the BB version because it's over $10 more than the Target one, but if it's going to drop to $29.99, than I'll do it.
