Default Gladiator Steelbook Regionfree

My apologies if this thread has been started. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with any region free version of this blu ray. It's my favorite film and considering I don't own it, I was thinking about paying more for a quality version of the film. Is the UK the best? Are the others up to par? Have there been reissues of these like the botched American blu when it first came out? Sorry so many questions. Thanks in advance.

Never seen any steelbooks versions over here in the Uk of the remastered version, only the old version. ( Maybe someone can quote me different ) Anyway I do have the steelbook Dutch version which is the New transfer and i think that its region free. Also the American version has the remastered version in shops for a while, just make sure its the right one. The new one as the words pocket blu on the back, if you do not see this then its the old version.

The 10th Anniversary Edition from the Netherlands has the good disc inside and region free, I think in the UK you had to get a replacement disc, and who knows how long that can take?

I know you stated steelbook but like other's have mention, the UK release is the old version and any other version might end up being costly and as you say you don't own it yet then what about a digibook?http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/3...ngDetails.html

It doesn't seem like the Dutch is still offered at Amazon. Anyone know if and where an alternative might be?

No worries, the option should appear on the top of your screen, you could always open your own amazon page and follow the same steps as all their pages have the same set-up,you can even use your existing account on amazon from any country.

They did a disc replacement scheme....I bought the UK steel and got the disc swapped. I suspect many others did too so worth the OP checking with sellers
