Universals Disaster "Earthquake" - Blu-ray Forum

for its 100th Anniversary, Universal has re-released "Earthquake" (Disaster from 1974/75) on DVD (its the same quality than they've released before.

But Where is a restored version on Blu-Ray with any bonus-Features? It would be really worth to restore it because its still a great entertaining movie (much better than Emmerichs "2012").

I'm just wondering who would love it also to have on BD.

I don't think it's a great film but it is a significant one for Universal and I don't know why they didn't release it on Blu. It's all the more frustrating as one of the generic featurettes on the centennial editions shows clips of this in HD as well as HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER, which is an even more mystifying exclusion.

Maybe they just directed their resources into the restorations and delayed further work on these titles. Perhaps we'll see them in 2013.
