I'm guessing on March next year, just before series 3 is broadcast. I believe HBO have a habit of releasing dvd/blu rays just before the new series starts in the US.

One of my favourite things on TV at the moment. I'll be getting it day one, but curious as to why this is £40+? Season one was only around £32 when it came out.

probably because of the increase in fans and previous sales. They know people will pay it

The first series had a list price of £50 but was reduced to £30 by the time it was released.

I'm sure the price for series 2 will come down by the time its released.

I hope the box artwork is almost exactly the same as Season 1! Obviously, instead of the image of Ned on the Iron Throne the image of the hand clasping the crown, and the inner artwork to be Season 2 shots not Season 1. But, I hope they keep it looking the same. I hate it when they change little things so that on the shelf they don't look awesome together.

+1. It is a bit of a wait but considering everything else that's out soon it's also a relief. With that release date, it should be out just in time to catch up before the third season starts.
