Living in Taiwan and frequenting blu-ray stores, I find it weird I haven't come across the Cars 2, John Carter and Real Steel covers before. Lion King's widely available (it's the version I have) and has come down in price in recent weeks.

One thing worth noting, and I don't know if it's this was an accident or not, but the Avengers blu-ray is already on sale here.

Got John Carter today in Gwang Hwa market. Went to all the stores in the area and only found the one. : shrug: Also got Real Steel. And of course The Avengers!

Left one copy of Real Steel
PL.P on the shelf at the Asia 1 kiosk in Warner Village. See lion King everywhere, even Carrefour. Same as Avatar(s), everywhere.

Guang Hwa's where I usually do my shopping, but the store I used to buy from closed recently (2nd floor). There's another one floor up, but for some reason I don't like it as much. I did pick up the first Narnia from them for 299 though, so that was alright.

The Carrefour near me has a bunch of the Lion King Steelbook (probably 5 or 6 copies last time I was there, and the stock levels rarely change). I got it at around $1000 upon release, but it's down to $700 at the moment. The 3 disc Avatar Steelbook's around $1200, down from $1600. I still haven't bought that though. Not sure why I'm dragging my heels. I just love watching the prices drop.

Guess I just haven't noticed John Carter or Real Steel. Truth be told, I haven't seen either movie. I may watch them before I invest.

I always go to two stores in an alley behind 3C on Ba-De road first.

I bought the Amaray edition of Lion King. Should have bought the SteelBook. Cannot double dip movies just of a case.

Yeah, I always check those two stores too. I typically buy from the one that sells CDs and vinyls. Not so much the other one.

I like the Lion King steelbook enough. Just glad to have both the 2D and 3D. Would have probably preferred the big box set with all the other movies, but I don't think I've seen it locally.
