Help BLU RAY friends - Blu-ray Forum

I am thinking of importing spidey 1,2,3 from the uK and i was wondering if its worth it? I know its region free so it will work on my BD-p1000. I figure i can just pay $100 US dollars and get it by tuesday next week because i cant wait. My friend has transformers on HD DVD and it looks sick, it really puts my upconvert dvd to shame and i need somthing to get back at him with. Does anyone have it imported already and how is the picture?

You may as well wait the 11 days and get it here. It'll probably take 11 days to get to the US from the UK anyways.

If you want to show him reference quality Blu Ray's in the meantime use the Pirates movies.

It will be about $69 (more or less) when it comes out in the US on Oct 30. Part 1 and 2 wont be sold seperately for some odd reason. So it's either part three or the whole trilogy.

The UK version of the Spiderman trilogy is i have to say top notch.....1 and 2, are excellent transfers...and number 3 is IMO absolutley stunning quality especially the Sandman sequence....

if you pay $100 for spider-man box set i would hope they will give you something in return because it is not even close to $100 more like $80 or $90 for the highest price but most places wont sell it for that price the only place that will sell it for that much is Bestbuy.com but when it comes into the store it will be cheaper then the online price i dont know why they do that

Well, its really $80 dollars and im paying $20 for shipping. So if i order it today, i will get it next wensday
