i love this movie, but i don't have any desire to own it on Blu-ray.
would be interesting to see how it looks though cause it's picture quality was never great.
maybe i'll pick it up after it drops to the 2 for $20 pile at JB

Nah we all have different tastes. This is not for everyone and that's cool.

I reckon for me at least it's one of those films that I forget just how much I love until every time I see it again and I pretty much grin from ear to ear the whole way through

Would love The Late Show set on blu but "I'm Dreamin"

I get that. This was another film i studied during my high school years so i learned to warm up to it.
Crocodile Dundee and Max Max Thunderdome should be next though!!

LOL, still no comments about picture quality?

I bought it yesterday and have had a quick look.

It still looks very grainy, in keeping with its 16mm origins.

Just looking at trying to find a copy of this to upgrade my DVD from, don't care about Region B locking as I have a region free Blu-ray player.

Does AUS29 sound like reasonable shipping costs for a Blu-ray to Canada? Seems really high to me, over twice as much as the item is listing for on several eBay sites but all Australian retailers/sellers.

If anyone thinks that's really high and could send for cheaper and can help out a fellow Blu-ray dot com member acquire this title, I'd appreciate it! Perhaps a PM would suffice so I get the notification.

Thanks.

That’s definitely what a human would have to pay to send it to you. Have you tried JB Hi-Fi for a cheaper price?

I’ve sent blu rays and dvds overseas inc Canada. If it’s under 2cm thick it can go for letter rate, under 125 grams is a$7.50, over 125 grams is a$12, no tracking
