The Dark Knight Rises - Which version are you going to get? - Blu-ray Forum

I know there is a thread already for TDKR discussions but I made this thread on purpose to see which version you guys are going to buy. It will be helpful for me and obviously many others to decide which version is best and which one to get.

Now so many releases have been coming. My question is which one you guys prefer and going to buy. Please reply.

1) The Dark Knight Rises normal amaray Blu-ray release.

2) The Dark Knight Rises Limited Edition Bat Cowl Packaging.

3) The Dark Knight Rises Target Exclusive DigiBook.

4) The Dark Knight Rises Target Exclusive Lenticular DigiBook

5) The Dark Knight Rises Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook

If you are going to get any other release which is not mentioned here please post that too in reply.

if the Reborn thing is not a download i will get that if it is i will go with the regular release

I will be getting the Best Buy steelbook for sure, to go with my other two steelbooks. I might also get one of the Target digibooks. Then next year, I will buy the entire trilogy again, but in their ultimate editions (maybe I will swap the new discs for the old discs in the steelbooks).

I'll be getting the standard edition. Reason for that choice is because I plan on buying the Trilogy set that will come out in 2013 and I don't want to have an edition that I won't want to get rid of. lol And I not a collector, so having multiple copies of one movie isn't my thing.

What about the Bat Cowl Packaging? Are you interested? Well, i am very much but the problem is I will have to pay a nice amount to get it to my country. Maybe a shipment of USD 25 or more so thats why I am very confused!

So is there any pictures revealed of Bat Cowl Packaging? I mean where the discs will be placed and also what memorabilia and figures etc are included?

I have the steelbook pre-ordered from HMV but I do prefer the Target Lenticular Digibook,the price difference is making me wonder is it worth while,I'm not sure.
My copies of BB and TDK are just amarays so......

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact that there is only ONE DIGIBOOK at Target. It's a lenticular cover with both Bane and Batman on it.

The poll also should have been multiple choice since so many people are getting a bunch of diferent versions

I have pre-ordered the cowl edition, regular edition, the trilogy (all appeared in my Gold Box on Amazon), but will probably end up with the steelbook to go with my other two -- or the lenticular digi, which would be really cool. I can only afford one, so I have time to decide.

I'm definitely in for the Steelbook since it comes with The Dark Knight reborn doc (BB exclusive), but I'll probably get the Digibook too. I'm not even that crazy about the Steelbook cover so perhaps I'll just keep the bonus disc (or code or whatever) for Reborn and sell the Steelbook
