Exclamation Panasonic DMP-BD10AK Screen Burn? HELP!

I have bought a new Panasonic DMP-BD10AK and have it attached via HDMI cable (tried 3 different cables and 2 different HDMI in ports on TV) direct to my Sony 60" Widescreen (appx 1 1/2 yrs old).

When I watch blue ray I see a blue glow stripe in the picture that looks almost like the no dvd in blu-ray logo is still remnant partially on screen. We also see that same blue stripe when we change to video 8 which is where we have HDMI Cable HD box ported in.

We had a further incident about a week ago that we left the Blu-ray on for 20 mins with no dvd in (logo showing). And when we got back a lot of the Blu-ray logo would still show in the background of the DVD playing on Vid 7 or the Cable on Vid 8. That thankfully went away when we shut down the TV and the Blu-ray overnight.

I know this sounds like screen burn but why does the Blu-ray burn the screen so quickly. i.e. if we choose to watch a blu-ray movie we get the lower logo sweep line at the bottom of the movie picture throughtout and that seems to remain until we shut off the Blu-ray player and the TV for a while......I am totally baffled as no other video component in our Home Theater has done this.

Called Panasonic and they blame Sony and are no help at all.

Help!!!

Thanks,
Don
