Default Da-lite Cinema Vision High Contrast - Will Gray base affect 3d viewing

For the 119" Cinema Vision High Contrast (Cinema contour) Da-Lite screen I went on their website and read about the screen and how it has a gray base and a 1.1 gain.

We have the Epson 3010 and I didn't know if the gray base would affect the brightness since the 3D viewing already starts to decrease brightness when you put the glasses on.

I'm really close to buying it since it is being sold for only $300 but I wanted to see if anyone had any input on this.

Thank you
