Seems considerably earlier than the US release so I'd be surprised if it doesn't either:

a) Get delayed
b) Get released but we don't get East of Eden and Giant until some ungodly time in the future.

Knowing Warner UK anyway.

Tempting,I haven't seen it in years but I am sure it would look fantastic on Blu-ray and might well be worth picking up.

Some time in Q2 2013, but I've just realised that they're probably talking about the fiscal quarter, which would be in line with this. Ignore what I said.

We need the James Dean boxset released over here, as the US one is listed as having extra goodies as well as six Blu-ray discs, and this steelbook will no doubt only have one, meaning double dipping will be required

This no longer has a release date on this site, and has no artwork attached. All the other Warner steelbooks released on Jan 28 have artwork now. Very disappointing, this is the release I was most excited about.

Yes unfortunately at the last minute Warner decided to pull this one along with the Steelbooks for Kelly's Heroes and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.

Hopefully they'll be released in the not so distant future.

Seems the separate JD releases are now marked last minute as not available from retailers. Have they been canned?

£9.99 in mine. Was hoping for it to be on the 5 for 30 deal but it wasn't. I presume it won't take long to be added to it though.

All these - Rebel, East of Eden & Giant standalones are HMV exclusives it seems, see the HMV webstore. At least currently the case, that's why my Zavvi order still pending and the listings were pulled across most sites.

Ordered from there with another film for free shipping - Honeymoon Killers only £12.99 if anyone interested.

Absolutely. It’s a stunning location with a great view of the city and the Hollywood sign. It still looks the same as in the film. The astronomy show is worth watching too.
