Thuppakki
is a 2012 Tamil action thriller film written and directed by A.
R. Murugadoss. It
features Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal in
the lead roles,
along with Vidyut
Jamwal,Jayaram,Sathyan,Gautham Kurup and Akshara Gowda in
supporting roles.
The film is produced by S.Thanu and features background score
and soundtrack
composed by
Harris Jayaraj with
cinematography
handled by
Santhosh Sivan, who with Thuppakki will introduce the Arri Alexa camera to Indian cinema.

AP International released its overseas bluray on 15th March

seyons has bought the rights so it has minimal chance of getting on bluray.

Rights not sold to anybody only UK Screening rights with Seyons. Pls note it is a Gemini Release and none of their movies have come on blu ray Nanban, 7am arivu and more.

only DVD coming from Suara after 2 months i am told like Naan EE Quality

Gemini film's dvd5 are released by suara... Mayakkam enna,nanban,7aam arivu ...etc are available on SUARA dvd

those are southasian markets and none are released in UK.

This is exactly why i hate Indian cinema to the max and they are still at the bottom of the feet when comes to movies and dvd/bd releases. First, they are only concerned about movie release, making money and once the movie is out of the cinema, they dont give a damn about dvds and bds. Dvd quality is like shit. Why buy the rights when your quality is crappy? Why spoil such good movies with such worse quality's? The movie originally was released in theaters with such beautiful colors, clear and crisp sound and wonderful dts sound. When comes to dvd, its freaking worse than vcd. Why? Many movies are screwed globally when comes to quality in a dvd. When will this change? Producers are the main ones to blame. Will someone change this? Please stop crappy releasers. Many movies never came out on bluray. Why? The rights, the dpx files. Ive totally given up with Indian cinema. I think if i record the movie in the cinema with a camera, the quality will be even far better than the dvd quality out there.

Release with quality or dont even bother.

Nanban dvd confirmed in next month. If they release nanban in BD after dvd release , there is a chance for thuppaki BD.
