Default If Blu-ray could not deliver IME features...

would that really upset you?

I know they promised us 1.1 and 2.0, but what if they couldn't deliver, how would you feel? Betrayed, angered, insulted?

i personally wouldn't care as long as i get the absolute best quality and sound.

something that bothers me is that HD-DVD supporters would say that they're better b/c they have IME. Well who said IME are a good thing anyway? i remember when reg tv's were equipped with PIP, it was cool...for about 2 seconds, when i had to get rid of it, b/c it was in my way.

Moreover, our players can fold protein which can contribute to the greater good of science and technology. imagine the power of 100m+ systems contributing power to science, we could cure cancer, make it to mars, conquer the universe. all that, but no IME. nah i'm just kidding. my 2 cents.

It would upset me if it wasn't coming. That's part of the OVERALL in-home movie experience. I know there is a business aspect to Blu-ray, so it takes time to make the complete Blu-ray players affordable. I would deal with it assuming they could not accomplish that and more in the future (which they can, of course), but then I would just feel like I was taking the lesser of two evils.

Luckily, I don't have to worry about that, because it IS coming...SOON. Plus, there are more options than that coming to improve my overall movie experience (like 3D, etc.). I love it!
