Hmm... Thought this was distributed by Sony.

Well hopefully it's given good treatment. I just hope we get good extras. It feels like apart from Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown, Tarantino films either get great video and mediocre extras or vice versa.

IMDB says that Sony has international rights.

I don't know if I'll see it in theaters, but I will definitely buy it when it comes out.

I know that this will be one of the must own movies of next year on Blu-ray. This movie could make for an awesome SteelBook release.

The OP is probably right about Anchor Bay/Starz distributing the disc, as when I was watching Lawless the other night a trailer for Django Unchained was included.

Didn't intend it to be insulting or coming across as a "downer". I look forward to the movie, myself actually. I'm just not ready to claim it as a year's best just yet.

I will be seeing this in the theater and it will be a day one purchase for me as well. Tarantino has yet to disappoint me!
