Default "Beowulf & Grendel" First impression

I have just got "Beowulf & Grendel" Blu-ray and here is my first impression: PQ: 3.5 and AQ 3.5 . Story line is quite interesting but I have not finished yet. I see that this is not a big budget movie but the scenes are quite realistic....

I am planning on getting this title next week especially since the one in theatre is released by paramount.

I'm a little confused as I just saw a trailer on the PSN for the same name but it was like a combination of cgi and film and didn't look like a PQ of 3.5. I'm assuming there are two different films coming out around the same time. Does anyone know the difference between these 2 ( assuming there are 2)?

Paramount is releasing a movie in theatre, and Starz is releasing the version made for paid channel television on blu-ray. they are two separate movies with different actors and actresses.

I've owned this on dvd since it came out originally. My friends and I laughed so incredibly hard during the whole movie, mostly because the "F***ing Troll" dialogue. Some time back there was a lot of hub-bub elswhere on the net over the historical accuracy & usage of swearing in the film. Make of that what you will. I liked it but I've always liked small movies with Stellan Skarsgard. Anyone who hasn't seen the original Insomnia should.
