PowerDVD - Total Recall(2012)

The audio keeps dropping out every few minutes . I even updated it with the latest patch. I'm using PowerDVD 12.

Anybody know how to fix it?

My bluray copy of totall recall also has audio drop outs and this is a known issue on other forums.

One of the solutions to get through the movie for me was that I switched my audio from bitstream to PCM. Too bad though because I thought the sound in this movie was great.

With that said this is the only bluray that I have experienced audio drop outs. If anybody has any other solutions, I would like to listen also. I want to watch this again bitstreaming.

Already saw that thread with the search feature, thanks but it does not help me. If you read my post, my disc works fine when I switch to pcm. I want to watch the movie while bitstreaming. The exchange program solution from Sony does not help as my disc works fine in PCM. Hopefully a firmware update for my BDP will come shortly.

Most work fine when switching to PCM but switching to PCM is merely a temporary work around. Wait until they release a fixed version and then exchange your current copy just tell them switching doesn't help fix the problem, lol.

Seems to me, that this thread is more relevant than the disc replacement thread. The disc replacement is for those who have players that cannot switch to LPCM, while the majority have players that do, but prefer to decode in their AVRs or at least have that choice.

Sony, Oppo and others have said they are working on player firmware updates to address this. I hope they are successful and announce the updates soon.
