Sainsburys exclusive BD (Jackpot & Sleep Tight) - Blu-ray Forum

After doing a number of exclusive bonus disks on DVD and BD, Sainsburys are now offering UK exclusive BD on a number of titles from Metrodome. These are DVD only elsewhere.

First title was released Monday 7th January and is the Norwegian thriller Jackpot (Arme Riddere), which is based upon a story by Jo Nesbø.

I had to pick up in store as still no stock online. Price both online and instore is £9.99 which is less than the DVD available elsewhere.

Won't be able to watch until weekend but sleeve says Norwegian DTS-HD-MA 5.1 with English subtitles. No extras listed. There is NO slipcase.

The only other exclusive BD they list is Sleep Tight (Mientras Duermas) released 4th March. It's online price is £12.99

Sleep Tight is absolutely superb. i assume the U.S release is region locked.

unfortunately there are zero extras on Sleep Tight.

shame, as all the other releases are either locked or not English friendly.

Jackpot went on general sale this Monday March 4th as now in stock at Amazon.

Seems that the Sainsburys exclusives are only 2 months. However their price is still lower than elsewhere.

might pick it up as its an excellent film. the making of and deleted scenes would have been nice though.

The Spanish blu ray of Sleep Tight has english subs and extras included (haven't watched the extras so i dont know if they are subtitled)

I watched Sleep Tight last night.

What an AMAZING film, probably the best and most realistic portrayal of a psychopath ever committed to celluloid!

Think I'm gonna order the American version as it seems to have more extras.

I've seen it once and want to rewatch. I wonder if the suspense will have the same effect though...
