Some films that I am looking forward to this year include..

The Wolf of Wall Street
Django Unchained
Gangster Squad
The Great Gatsby

And many more

And what point in time, say how many weeks/months after cinematic release do they release the information regarding DVD, BluRay and MOST IMPORTANTLY steelbook availability?

It can depend, but I think it's normally about three months. If these come out on steelbook then apart from The Hut Group, the only other retailer is Amazon, and Amazon UK don't do steelbook exclusives
